My name is Brian Donovan. I taught third and fourth grade at Brooklake Christian School for eight years. During the certification process, I had the pleasure of being the fifth grade instructor. I was recently the elementary administrator at Brooklake but hope to transition back into the classroom for the 2011-2012 school year.
When I am not planning lessons or grading papers, I enjoy world travel. I have had the opportunity to visit about forty countries on five continents. When home, I usually have classical music playing. I am an especially big opera fan and attend several performances each season. Another favorite activity of mine is chess. When I have a few expendable minutes, I compete with other players online. Of course, I am an avid reader. History and biography are my genres of choice.
